Flying Kites!

Windy March Fun
We can tell you for sure that March 'went out like a LION!' What a windy day March 31st was. A great day for kite flying! Our 7th Grade Buddies and their teacher, Mrs. Arras, joined us that morning for a great spring surprise. First Mrs. Arras read us the story Curious George Flies a Kite. Then we went out to the soccer field and flew kites that the 7th graders brought to share with us. There were some tangled tails, some criss-crossed strings and some VERY HAPPY Pre-K students! It sounded like the 7th graders were having a good time, as well. But honestly, it seemed like Mrs. Arras, Mrs. Gilbert and Mrs. Calvin were having as much fun as the students

Safety Lessons
We always enjoy a visit from Ms. Jeanne! On the 9th of March Ms. Jeanne taught us all about Poison Safety. She had a specail friend with her named Spike the Porcupine. Spike taught us "If you don't know what it is, STAY AWAY!
On the 11th of March Ms. Jeanne was back again. This time she brought two friends who are students at ORU. They are learning to be a nurse like Ms. Jeanne! They brought along a bike, a tire pump, and a bike helmet to teach us about Bicycle Safety!
Keeping safe is an important job for all of us. We really appreciate Ms. Jeanne coming to our classroom. We learn so much and have LOTS of fun!

March 2nd--Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss and Welcome Fr. Steve!
Happy with just one blue feather, Fr. Steve reads Gertrude McFuzz by Dr. Seuss to our class. We learned from Gertrude that too much of a good thing can have bad results! Poor Gertrude had to learn the hard way! God loves us just the way we are...we don't ever have to try to be somebody else!

Then Fr. Steve read Yertle the Turle by Dr. Seuss, a story about being free! Fr. Steve also joined us for lunch before going back to the Church of the Resurrection in Tulsa where he is pastor!

Class Circus
Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls!

Welcome to the GREATEST CLASS ON EARTH!!

What fun we had with our Class Circus! We had lion tamers, tigers, clowns, tightrope walkers, trapeze artists, ballerinas, elephants, and even a circus band. The 'show' was AMAZING and the popcorn and sodas were yummy! We even had a Circus Parade and visited many other classrooms!
