Stocking Hats!!

What fun we had when Kimberly's grandma and mom came to make stocking hats with us! Each student picked out their own material pattern, pushed the button to make the sewing machine go, and helped use a special cutting tool to cut the 'noodles' for the top of the hat! WOW!! We are warm and 'COOL' in Pre-K. Check us out!!

Caroling at Woodland Hills Mall

There were 'Sixteen Little Angels in the Pre-K Band' singing and playing instruments for a large crowd at Woodland Hills Mall. Mrs. Wantiez led the band and the singing. "Jingle Bells" could be heard throughout the mall as Pre-K, along with Kindergarten, wished everyone a very Merry Christmas!

Fall Fun!

Who needs playground equipment when there are hundreds and hundreds of leaves to gather, pile, throw and jump in! There were leaves stuck in hair, crushed on coats and flying in the air, but the laughter was the best fall song anyone could ever sing!! We thank you, God, for FALL!

Healthy! That's Me!

Ms. Jeanne joined us once again, this time to teach us about those 'nasty germs' that make us SICK! We practiced washing our hands and covering our mouth with 'Mr. Elbow' when sneezing or coughing. We always enjoy our visits with Ms. Jeane and look forward to seeing her again.

Fr. Steve's Birthday!

Happy Birthday Fr. Steve!!
First we sang "Happy Birthday" to Fr. Steve and gave him a birthday crown. Then he read us a story about a dragon as a pet! Fr. Steve joined us for lunch before going back to the Church of the Resurrection in Tulsa where he is pastor. Thank you, Fr. Steve. We loved having you visit and hope you will come again soon!

The Merry, Mary, Month of May!

May flew by with many fun, end of the year activities including a lesson with Ms. Jeanne on Water Safety, Fun Day (Thank you, PTO!), outside games with our 7th Grade Buddies, and a Picnic (in the Parish Hall due to rain) with our Parents--including a special performance of The 3 Little Pigs featuring all the Pre-K students, directed by Mrs. Wantiez. BRAVO!!
Our 'homeliving center' became a beach and our 'sensory table area' became a fishing hole.

Cooking out on the grill added to our summer fun!
We learned about being a prophet like Jonah and practiced sharing God's Word with others using our paper doll friends from our religion series.

We also had beautiful May Crowning
Ceremonies--1 with the whole school at Mass and 1 in our classroom.
