Advent Service Project--Collecting Hats and Mittens

Please, help us fill our large red stocking with HATS AND MITTENS during this Advent Season.  The hats and mittens will be donated to St. Anne's Ministry of Compassion to be given out to area children in need of warm winter-wear.  The stocking is hanging outside our classroom and we hope to have it overflowing with items by Dec. 18th when we will celebrate with a 'Birthday Party for Baby Jesus."  Thank you so much for your help!  Happy Advent!

POPCORN PARTY

Woot!  Woot!  Our class won Book Fair Bingo!!!  We won a POPCORN PARTY which we enjoyed this afternoon in our classroom.  Thank you Mrs. Walter, all the Book Fair workers and PTO for an AWESOME party.  I'm pretty sure many of the children will not need dinner tonight.  They ate a lot of popcorn!!!!!!!  We also enjoyed Lemonade and delicious chocolate chip cookies.  Fun! Fun! Fun!

 We had a great time learning about the farm and farm products.  While singing several verses of "Old MacDonald" we shook that farm fresh cream until it became butter and then enjoyed it on some  saltine crackers.  It was YUMMY!
