Fire Safety

A visit from Nurse Jeanne and a visit from the B.A. Fire Department really reinforced what we had been learning about Fire Safety!  STOP, DROP AND ROLL; STAY LOW AND GO; EMERGENCY CALL 911.  Pre-K students will tell you all about these and many more fire safety facts!

Happy Birthday Fr. Steve!

Fr. Steve visiting our classroom centers.

 Fr. Steve visited us on Sep. 19th to celebrate his Sep. birthday and "Talk Like a Pirate Day!"  We had such a great time!  He met each student as they played in Centers, ate birthday snack and read a story called "How I Became a Pirate."  Fr. Steve makes a pretty good pirate, but we are very glad he is our class priest instead of a pirate! 

Pirate donuts and juice made a yummy birthday treat!

Yo, ho ho!  That's a good donut, me matey!

Germs, Germs, Germs

Nurse Jeanne visited today to teach us about GERMS and what we must do to wash them away.  We learned the proper steps for hand washing, to cover our mouths when we sneeze or cough and how germs are spread from one person to another.  Thanks Nurse Jeanne!  We always learn so much when you visit.  She will be back next week to talk about playground safety.
