8th Grade 'White House Tours"

Thank you 8th grade for sharing information with us about the White House and the rooms within! It is hard to imagine a 'house' with so many rooms, painted so many colors, with so many activities to do right there where you live. The room models were amazing! It was a great addition to our USA unit.

Healthy Heart!

A visit from Ms. Jeanne and participation in 'Jump Rope for Heart!' proved to be a GREAT way to learn about keeping our hearts healthy. Ms. Jeanne even let us listen to our own hearts with her stethoscope. Thank you Ms. Jeanne and Miss Duncan helping us stay healthy!

Fr. Steve Austin

Fr. Steve came to visit again. This time he showed us the vestments he wears at Mass, the books used during Mass, and the vessels used during Mass. Wow! We learned words like chasuble, alb, ciborium, & Sacramentary! We even practiced some of the responses we will be saying when we begin going to the school masses this week durning Catholic Schools Week.

Fr. Steve stayed and had lunch with us which we always enjoy.
