Broken Arrow Fire Department

WOW! Were the firefighters ever impressed at how much

Pre-K knew about FIRE SAFETY! We learned a great deal more from our friends from the B.A. Fire Department about fire safety and about the fire truck and the equipment used that is carried on the truck. Pre-K was amazed at all the storage compartments there are on the truck and how BIG the tires are.

Please say a prayer for fire fighters and all people who work in our communities to keep us safe!

A big THANK YOU from Pre-K for an awesome outdoor lesson about FIRE SAFETY!

Fire Safety with Ms. Jeanne

Call 911! STOP, DROP, & ROLL! STAY LOW AND GO!

Your might have heard all these things and more when Mr. Jeanne came to Pre-K to teach us about FIRE SAFETY! We learned and practiced what to do in case of fire. Be sure to check your smoke alarm at home and plan a 'meeting place' for your family so you will be well prepared in case of an emergency!

"Come follow me!"

Do you know the story of Jesus calling Peter, Andrew, James and John to be his disciples? Pre-K students listened to the story read from the Bible, watched the story on our Promethean Board and then took turns playing the parts to act out the story. From fishermen and net repairers to helping spread the Good News of God's love, the apostles are an example for us of how to say YES! to Jesus!

Ms. Jeanne and the MEAN, NASTY GERMS!

Ms. Jeanne visited us once again this time with a story about germs and how we can clean them off our hands by being good hand washers. We practiced how to wash our hands and dry them well. We even had a worksheet to take home to remind us of the steps to good handwashing. Thank you, Ms. Jeanne for teaching us how to get rid of those MEAN, NASTY GERMS!
