What a fun time we had celebrating "Read Across America" with a Dr. Seuss character dress-up day.

and Thing Two!

Horton, Daisy Head Mazie, Sally and her brother, and Cindy Lou Who also spent the day with us!

I do! I do like GREEN EGGS & HAM!

Our 7th Grade buddies joined us to say 'Happy Birtday Dr. Seuss' with some yummy GREEN EGGS AND HAM! We also had green orange juice!

Our buddies brought along their Dr. Seuss books and we spent time listening to many great stories.

It is so much fun to rhyme, imagine and learn with one of favorite authors and illustrators, Dr. Seuss!

We loved seeing the costumes our buddies were wearing. They had some fantastic ideas.

Fantastic February!

A Healthy Heart!
Mrs. Jeanne joined us in February to talk about keeping our heart healthy. We learned many things about our heart--how big it is, how hard it works and how fast it pumps. We also learned how important it is to get plenty of sleep, eat healthy foods, and exercise. Mrs. Jeanne brought along her stethoscope and we each got to listen to our own heart beats. Thank you, Mrs. Jeanne for keeping us HEALTHY!

We had great fun sharing Valentines with our friends and learning about St. Valentine! Fr. Joe even talked about St. Valentine at Mass when we joined the other All Saints students for the weekly school Mass.

We also learned about being patriotic! We learned the meaning of the words in the Pledge of Allegiance, we explored the American Flag and designed our own flags, we examined American money and designed our own coins, and we learned about presidents.

We love red, white and blue!

Welcome to the Greatest Show on Earth--PreK Class Circus

On Friay, Jan. 28th we had our PreK Class Circus. What fun we had! We had a circus parade and all kinds of acts from ferocious lions and an elephant to tight rope walkers and clowns. Check us out!!

Other January Classroom Activities

Our 'homeliving center' became a nutrition and medical facility for zoo animals and many amazing zoos were designed in our block center.

We went ice skating on our 'tile pond" and designed felt snow people.

Promethean Board activities including 'Zoo Math' and making snow scenes.
