October Activities

October was a very busy month here in our Pre-K class. Here are some of the highlights!

Heigh Ho Halloween Fun!

We learned many fun Halloween songs. We read some funny and spooky Halloween books. We cleaned out and carved 2 pumpkins. We even roasted and ate the seeds...YUMMY!

Many families attended the PTO Fall Bingo. Students wore their costumes and participated in many fun activities. It was a great evening!

Our month ended with a special All Saints Feast Day and Halloween Party. Students received holy cards and a medal in celebration of All Saints Day. We want to give a special thank you to our homeroom mom and all the parent helpers who made our party a big hit!

Fire Safety Day

What a great time we had on Oct. 6th learning about FIRE SAFETY! First, Ms. Jeanne came to our class and read a story about fire safety then we practiced STOP DROP AND ROLL and STAY LOW AND GO!!
Next firefighters from the Broken Arrow Fire Department came to visit us in our classroom to talk with us about fire safety.

Then we got to go outside where the firefighters showed us the fire truck, ambulance, and firefighter equipment.

It was an AWESOME Fire Safety Day!
